NFL Quarterback Mark Brunell to File Bankruptcy 6/28/2010

According to FoxNews.com and and WJXT-TV in Jacksonville, Florida, NFL quarterback Mark Brunell is set to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to a series of financial setbacks relating to unsuccessful real estate investments and business ventures. Mark Brunell was formerly the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to a trade that moved him to New Orleans where he was the backup quarterback for Drew Brees during last Super Bowl winning season. Brunell had been apparently struggling with the financial burden for years and came to the realization that bankruptcy was the only feasible option according to a statement that was released. He will be filing bankruptcy in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division.
